  • Received Howard Sylvester Award from the Humanities Department of the NM Institute of Mining and Technology for outstanding scholarship in and contributions to the Technical Communication program
  • Wrote grant application for Coca-Cola’s Bin Grant program for Socorro County, which was one of 85 selected from 1,400 applications
  • Wrote three final reports for NM High School Supercomputing Challenge teams, all of which won the Society for Technical Communication’s Best Written Report award (‘02–‘03, sole writer; ‘01–‘02 lead writer; ‘00–‘01, sole writer)
